Gemma Files is a writer (dark, poetic horror involving blood, sex and magic, mainly), teacher, film critic, wife and mother. She is also the author of two books of short stories, Kissing Carrion and The Worm in Every Heart, both of which can be found at amazon.com, amazon.ca, barnesandnobles.com and chapters-indigo.ca. Her first novel, A Book of Tongues: Book One of the Hexslinger Series, will be available from CZP Publications as of April, 2010. Its sequel, A Rope of Thorns, was released in April, 2011. The trilogy will be completed with A Tree of Bones, slated for May 2012, just in time for the Mayan Apocalypse.
